Hooray, the site is back! Hopefully whatever was causing thousands of people to hammer the highscores.xml file has now stopped and I won't again run out of bandwidth in the first 3 days of the month. Hopefully...
While The site was down, I did some stuff.
More specifically, I did some uni, and then had a week off for easter. I got my hands on the student licence of Visual Studio.NET, and I have to say I'm very impressed. I still loathe the fact that everyone has to have the .huge NET runtimes installed in order to run the programs you make, but the IDE itself is wonderful.
So I've finally been able to get a fair way with my iTunes custom ratings idea, it's actually come together pretty quickly. More on that later though.
I also went on a fairly lazy hike up Mt Howitt, and got some pretty cool photos while I was there - which you can see above and which I have also added to the photo gallery. That's kinda a big deal, cos I haven't actually updated the gallery for nearly a year...
Finally, I also got enthusiastic about del.icio.us. I may be a bit late to the party, but I'm finding it to be a much better way of sharing and organising links that I like. If you want to see what those links are, I'm sure you can probably guess my username...
